I'm Megumi,
I am a Hawaii-based photographer originally from Sapporo, Japan. I’m drawn to honest moments, beautiful light, and the little details that make every story unique.
Photography has taken me beyond the islands to places like Paris and Switzerland, combining two things I love most — travel and documenting meaningful moments in beautiful places.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me with a good book, working on my latest knitting project, or dreaming about where to travel next. I’m married to a Mexican, so I’ve picked up a little Spanish along the way — just enough to surprise you every now and then.
My approach to photography is relaxed and natural. I want you to feel comfortable, be present, and enjoy the moment while I capture the connection, laughter, and everything in between.
